Idris Elba
(overdue post from Monday 11th April)
I'm a big fan of Idris!
He was fabulous in the role of Nelson Mandela IMHO.
Here he is giving a speech to MPs about the lack of diversity in British Television. You can find the full speech here and it is well worth a listen.
He was helped by The Princes Trust when he was just starting out and is an ambassador for the organisation.
Finally he is the voice of Shere Khan in the new version of The Jungle Book.
