Accept your limitations, accept your imperfections. That's what it means to be a human being! And accept yourself as you are -- with joy, not in helplessness. Because GOD accepts you -- this is my basic teaching -- God accepts you, accept yourself; love yourself. Let there be a great upsurge of self-love. And out of that love you will start becoming creative; a person who loves himself is bound to become creative. I am not saying he will become famous; I am not saying that he will be a Picasso or an Ezra Pound or a Pablo Neruda, no -- he may be, he may not be. But that is irrelevant! The real thing is to enjoy creativity. Whatsoever you do, do it with joy, bring your total intelligence to it, be meditative in it.

Today I went to Stained Glass making class, even with the sneezes and the snuffles. My piece is coming along, although a little ambitious for a first attempt! Look at these beautiful windows we saw in Italy...it just amazes me the work that has gone into such works of art.
I am just back and ready for bed, hence the very short post today. For the past two days I have been looking for patterns, and doodling with words in my art journal - just passes for creative everyday. More about that later perhaps.
I must admit the three hours spent in the workshop tonight, flew by again. I thought to myself as I was working, that I could be happy just pottering about in the workshop all day long! Sigh.
There are lots of crafts I'd like to try and stained glass is one of them. Wheel pottery, basket weaving, all kinds of stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished result. I trust we will?
