ICAD #5 - Party Time

It's the halfway point in the Daisy Yellow ICAD Summer Challenge. Most participants started 45 days ago and have created the 45th card to celebrate. As I started late, my celebratory card is number 28 and involves cake.

So congratulations to all the ICAD participants , on reaching the halfway point. Your creations are a sight to behold! Here are some flowers just for you.....

I'm still loving every moment of the challenge, even if things have become a bit hectic and hurried after my return to working life. This week has been a whirlwind of activity, and I've sometimes felt as if I was at risk of disappearing again. Luckily this feeling has passed quickly most days.

This week's set of cards,  have been the quickest of the whole bunch. When I started the challenge, it was my goal to take less time, and to just create whatever came up, mistakes, lack of inspiration, and all.  Now I have no choice, as time is limited again. The luxury of being at home is gone. Surprisingly to me, I am managing to continue creating, and practice Yoga, it's all still been fun and not chore-like. ICAD is keeping me in touch with the promises I have made to myself. I even found that I was....shhh....having fun...shhh.... at work on Friday.

I know I'm repeating myself here on the blog, but I really need to keep reminding myself of the important things I've learned about living since I began blogging, and especially over the past four months since I stopped work.

I am determined to keep creating and to continue to live life in this new "alive" state.

As I make a new start to a new working life, I'm taking my whole self with me.

Now that I have found me, I won't ever be losing me again. ICAD is part of keeping me awake and alive!
