EDM Challenge #1 - Draw your shoe

I am starting this, found via daisy yellow blogwhose blog and art I love.

Just as and when I feel like it, no pressure.

As you can see my shading skills need work, as do my lines, and also my pencils and crayons need sharpening. I also forgot to add some notes about my shoe, so I will just add them here:

These are my brown flatties. They are so comfortable that lately I have taken to wearing them everyday. I love how they are getting creases in the toes. They remind me of a well-loved brown teddy-bear. I love their shape and how the heel is so chunky. I could easily eat them all up they are so delicious.

  2. I have tried drawing but to no avail. I keep a little book but I don't let anyone see it. I do like colouring Mandalas and let people see them but that is as far as it goes.

    Nice job on your shoe!

    1. Thanks Birdie. Well drawing in your little book must mean that you enjoy it. I haven't seen any of your Mandalas - maybe you could post some on your blog?

  3. Well Jan, this looks like a comfortable shoe! I would wear those every day too. I think you did a great job on the drawing. I can see this shoe stamped all over a paper bag for the local shoe store.
