I am spending New Year's Eve with my new friend.... here ...... close to nature and under a big sky. I took this photo a few weeks ago by the pond that is just up the hill from his lodge. While I resist getting on the road to go to be with him this New Year, part of me is itching to be there in the wilds and never to come back to this place that is still my home.
A new life and a new year is beckoning to me, I can feel it's pull.
Whilst I will be back home by Monday, and life will continue in it's old way for a time, I am ready to say goodbye to 2021 and to living in the past.
Happy New Year to you my dear blogging friends here in blogland. May the coming new year bring you peace, love, kindness and freedom from any of the old ways that are causing you to suffer. I want to be with you all going forward to hold each other's hand through any dark times to come and to share in all the joys that are to come.
